This program helps to correct a hemispheric asymmetry that is common in depressed individuals. Persistently depressed people tend to have an overactive right (emotional) hemisphere. This program therefore reduces activity in the right brain hemisphere, while increasing activity in the left, giving more control over to the left (logical) brain and reducing irrational and overly emotional thought patterns.
Use this program to train the brain to help resist persistent depression.
This program should be used in a quiet, comfortable place, free of distraction, in a chair or lying down. After starting the program, close your eyes and relax. Your eyes should be closed.
Headphones are required.
